La Jolla Country Day School celebrated the "Torrey Air" gala May 2. The international travel-themed event took place at the school and all proceeds from the gala will be used to fund tuition assistance, teacher enrichment, community service projects and teachers' wish lists.
The evening began with a silent auction and international food. "The Eighth Wonder" live auction, opportunity drawing and dancing followed.
